The Black mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis), also known as black mouthed mamba or black mamba, will be the longest venomous snake in Africa and the second longest venomous snake in the world,
 close to 2.5 to 3.2m in length on average, sometimes its length grows 
to 4.45m. The longest scientifically measured black mamba documented was
 4.48 metres (14.7 ft) long, seen in Zimbabwe.Its common name from the 
black colour of the mouth interiorly instead of the coloration on its 
scales which in turn may differ by dreary yellowish-green to gun-metal 
gray. It is the fastest snake on the earth, efficient of moving at 4.3 to 5.4 meters per second.
This black
 mamba features a popularity for being quite aggressive, however it 
commonly makes an attempt to run away from people similar to other 
snakes, except if it is insecure. Without having speedy and strenuous 
antivenom therapies, the bite from the mamba is generally dangerous, for
 which is could be termed as the most deadliest snake on earth and the most venomous land snake on earth.

 the mouth will be dark blue to black. The black mambas head is huge in size however 
narrow and elongated, with the model of a coffin. It has a immovable 
fangs at the front end of the maxilla so it is also called as proteroglyphous snake.
 The eyes are brownish to black, having a silvery white to yellowish 
borders on the pupils.These snakes are tend to strong however tenuous in
 body and generally weighed from 1.6 to 3.1 kg.  There is no authentic 
sexual dimorphism, and both male as well as female snakes of this 
species are similar in appearance and in size. Details concerning the 
lifespan associated with snakes in the wild is scarce; the longest noted
 lifespan of a black mamba is 14 years, but precise greatest lifespans 
could possibly be considered. At the older age, their colour tends to 
get darker.

 is well distributed in the regions of eastern Africa and southern 
Africa with grasslands of savannah and woodlands.The black mamba modify 
itself to different type of climates, like savanna,farmlands, 
woodlands,thick forests,  rugged slopes  and humid swamps. The snake 
favours dry environments like semiarid, dry bush region, gentle 
woodland, and rocky outcrops. This kind of species likes regions along 
with a lot of hills and riverine woods.

The black mamba confronts human persecution due to its adverse reputation 
throughout Africa. With the raising level of its area becoming occupied 
by humans, it finds no place to escape. On this predicament it will 
remain on its ground and show fearsome tenacity and volatile violence 
while hissing and striking continuously.
Several 
persons are often needed to kill it, as it is very fast and alert. The 
strong fear of this kind of snake arises not only from its character for
 hostility, venom toxicity,speed but from tales which are passed through
 generation to generation.
